With the arrival of the Tastu Display a question raised for a new input type.
A numeric keypad should be available, that can be accessed on the display and also via the QBUS cloud.
This would enable a user to enter a code via the TASTU display (or within the cloud) in order to activate an output (or logic)
- Opening gate/doors
- Alarm code to activate/disable alarms/logics.
- Activate timers,…
(All examples either via local display or remote via the Qcloud.)
Furthermore this numkeypad input should be able to contain more than one numeric code with different associated IDs.
Example: In a warehouse all employees have a separate code to enter the stockroom.
In addition, a log file would also be beneficial that can be downloaded as a text file via the system manager.
Via this log you can see who accessed the stock room (Code ID), at which time & date (Time stamp) and via what medium (Qcloud OR Tastu display)
Hopefully this is something Qbus can look into as a new future feature.
