Weather Station gives zero valued output

#1 Post by psimoen » Fri Jul 12, 2019 4:37 pm

Hi all,

I've connected a Qbus weather station.
The LED indicators (on the SER485 module) "RX" and "PWR" are green. The other two LEDs are off ("TX") and ("STATUS").

In System Manager III, I only get zero values when I want to read the current values (in Dutch: "Lees stand").

I've tested the controller to module communication with "Tools -> Communication Check" and this was OK.

What could be the problem?

First try to reset the module (disconnect the bus)
In normal situation power led should be green and RX led should blink +/- every second.
If data from outside weatherstation is not received, please check 24V power supply and try to switch connections A and B.

If RX led still doesn't blink and module has latest firmware (tools/setup/software/...) SER485module must be repaired/replaced.
